Where are the maps?

You can park at the side of a public road and walk to the top of this mountain or walk over from the public access on Utsayantha. However, the entire mountain and the ridge it is located on are on private property. The people in this area seem more than willing to grant permission for hikers but it is necessary to ask. GET PERMISSION.

There are several woods roads that ascend this mountain from different directions. By the time they near the top of the mountain they may become choked with prickers making them almost impassable. On my ascent I climbed SW Moresville first since it was "on the way" to the other peak. The woods roads were in good condition and open near the bottom but I eventually left the road as it became infested with prickers. Walking up the STEEP hillside seemed preferable! I regained the road near the top of SW Moresville but it did not ascend to the summit. After tagging the summit of SW Moresville I headed out toward NW Moresville making sure I stayed on the high ground of the ridge that connects them. There was a road that I was able to follow between the two peaks. I also crossed a right-of-way that gave some views on both sides of the ridge. The road did pass over another "bump" on the way to the northwest peak and it did have some prickers. The peak of this mountain was also flat but there was one slightly higher spot. Once at the highest point, I turned around and followed my route back.
