Where are the maps?

Take Route 30 and turn west on Cold spring Road south or Roxbury. There will be signs for Ski Plattekill. Turn left on Upper Meeker Hollow Road which should be the second or third turn. I did not find a public parking area and was going to ask for permission from the "dude ranch" on the road. Instead I drove until I could drive no further and asked at a house if I could park the car. They gave me permission to park across from their driveway. I walked up the road for about .5 miles and then watched for the signs for land open to the public. There is a fine line between public and private land in the area. I headed northeast and UP for about .3 miles and then turned north toward the highest point. It was summer so I had to fight some prickers. There were a few steep spots but nothing too hard. The round trip was 1.5 miles.
